Just a few days ago, the Ubiquitous Women’s Expo took place in Washington, DC. This unique and well-designed event founded by Germaine Bolds-Leftridge was a huge success. However, this isn’t the first time Germaine gave back to the community. Throughout the years she leveraged her industry background and connections to empower people of color.

Germaine has spent decades in the beauty industry. With an overall incredibly successful career, Germaine managed to skyrocket some multicultural beauty brands to fame. She helped multiple beauty brands earn millions of dollars with her outstanding company GBL Sales. Germaine’s skills in sales, brand-building, and marketing have helped black-owned brands become internationally recognized.
Using her knowledge of the industry and her widespread network, Germaine decided to create an expo that will help multicultural women to grow. The 8th annual Ubiquitous Women’s Expo was held this August and achieved a record success. The event was designed by Germaine to inspire people of color to achieve their goals, be intentional with their purpose, and boost their confidence.

This year people of color were able to attend various workshops and panels taught by industry professionals. Therefore, this event was not only an amazing place to grow your network, but it also empowered people of color and provided them with invaluable knowledge regarding entrepreneurship, industry topics, and spiritual health and wellness. The event was a well-rounded experience, and its success is the reflection of Germaine’s deep-rooted knowledge of the industry and her willingness to help people from her community.
Besides empowering attendees, the event was also a great place for brands to promote their products. Germaine has been advocating for people of color for years. However, her biggest contribution to the community besides her incredible work at GBL Sales is the Ubiquitous Women’s Expo. Not only did the event provide a space for black-owned beauty brands to showcase their products, but it also allowed them to engage with potential customers.
